Singapore is a vibrant trading port for business.
These words apply in 2008 as much as they did in 1830. The town bustles with activity. What drew people here just under two hundred years ago is the same what brings people here today. It is a great place to do business.
Today I spent some time at the Asian Civilizations Musuem (www.acm.org.sg) with some interesting historical displays of old Singapore. If you are in Singapore for a few days it is well worth a quick visit as it is located right opposite the CBD (Raffles Place) and the story of Singapore as a trading port is well displayed.
Whilst the junks, opium dens and the British flag have been replaced with container ships, Starbucks and the Singapore flag, the soul of the city is the same.
This blog will cover some of the more interesting happenings on business in Singapore.
